His illustrious career includes serving as the Associate Director of Robotic Heart Surgery at Mount Sinai St. Luke and joining the Cardiac Robotic and Minimally Invasive Division of Surgery at the University of Chicago. Since 2021, Dr. Torregrossa has been the Director of the Robotic Coronary Program at Main Health Hospital in Philadelphia.

    With over 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals and his role as a reviewer for several medical journals, Dr. Torregrossa is a leading voice in the field of cardiac surgery. Fluent in four languages and having crossed the Sahara twice on his motorbike, he brings a unique perspective to the surgical community.
