    1. The Jaws

    2. Positioning

    • Slide and Lock: Slide the insert completely into the jaw and pinch the tip to lock it in place.
    • Secure: Ensure the squared end of the insert locks into the tip of the jaw and check for security.

     

    5. Insert Removal

     

    Removing the inserts is a simple process:

    • Pull: Pull the tip of the jaw towards the other jaw to slide the insert out.
    • Discard: Discard used inserts appropriately.
    • Close Jaws: Close the jaws and engage the ratchet.

     

    6. The Ratchet

    Cygnet® Flexible Clamp.

    INDICATIONS: The Cygnet® surgical clamp is used with jaw inserts to temporarily occlude a blood vessel, vein or artery. When the rigid shaft is retracted, the clamp handle may be placed out of the way, facilitating access to the surgical site. The Cygnet® clamp is to be used with INTRACK® inserts as indicated for surgical clamping to temporarily occlude blood vessels in cardiovascular, peripheral vascular and general surgical procedures.
