Closure & anastomosis

Non-absorbable Monofilament Sutures

When closing wounds in plastic surgery or when performing anastomosis in general, cardiovascular or neurological surgery, surgeons generally require non-absorbable monofilament sutures that do not adhere to tissue, are biologically inert and are therefore effective as extractable sutures.

Peters Surgical Range of Non-absorbable Monofilament Sutures

With Peters Surgical, the surgeon has the choice between two non-absorbable monofilaments:

  • Corolene®, polypropylene monofilament
  • Premio®, PVDF monofilament
