Welcome to our Domalain industrial site, located in Brittany, where industrial excellence meets medical precision.

A site dedicated to innovation and industrial expertise

The Domalain site is fully dedicated to the design and manufacture of titanium haemostatic clips and surgical glue.
Every day, a team of around 50 employees works on manufacturing, quality control, and the release of medical devices used in operating rooms worldwide.

The site brings together all essential functions to ensure full control over our products and processes:
• Industrial support services
• Special process validation teams
• Research & Development department, driving continuous product and component innovation
• Regulatory Affairs team, ensuring compliance and patient safety

This integrated organization allows us to respond efficiently to user needs and market evolutions.

A site built for long-term growth

The Domalain site and its surrounding land are fully owned by Peters Surgical. Today, our facilities occupy less than half of the available construction area, giving us strong potential for future expansion and sustainable growth.

Two workshops, one shared standard: precision

Production is organized around two main workshops:

• Titanium haemostatic clip manufacturing – High-precision mechanical processes are carried out on automated machines operating 24/7.
➡️ 55 million clips were produced last year, with an annual growth rate of 5–7%.
• Implantable surgical adhesive synthesis – Polymer chemistry synthesis and packaging are performed in a cleanroom environment.
➡️ Over 60,000 units produced annually, with growth exceeding 10%.

Haemostatic clips: invisible precision, essential reliability

Manufactured from pure medical-grade titanium, our haemostatic clips reflect the Domalain site’s commitment to precision and safety.

Their design features:
• chevron shape
• triangular cross-section
• diamond-shaped internal indentations in contact with blood vessels

All manufacturing and inspection processes are validated and closely monitored, ensuring exceptional reliability and safety for both surgeons and patients.
