A Mission Driven By Our Values

‘Open with Care, Close for Life’ is much more than a slogan; it’s a commitment to our patients, our partners and the planet.

We take action every day based on our core values: qualityproximity to our customers, and our commitment to the planet and people.

We firmly believe that the quality of our products must be accompanied by an unwavering respect for patient safety, environmental protection and the promotion of fair and inclusive working conditions.

Supporting The Sustainable Development Goals

Peters Surgical relies on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda to structure its CSR approach.

We pay special attention to six of them :

SDG 3: Good health and well-being

SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth

SDG 10: Reduced inequality

SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production

Responsible Governance and Ethical Practices

Peters Surgical's CSR governance is based on a strong, dedicated structure.

CSR Committees At All Levels

In France, a local CSR committee, made up of volunteers from different departments, is responsible for implementing actions and relaying initiatives to employees.

Internationally, a CSR committee oversees the Group’s strategic actions, integrating ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria into all decisions.

Beyond that, at Peters Surgical, we place transparencyethics, and responsibility at the heart of our practices.
We are committed to upholding
the highest standards in the fight against corruption, the protection of human

, and data confidentiality.

Building A Sustainable Future Together

At Peters Surgical, we are fully aware of the global challenges we face. This is why one of our key objectives is
our commitment to a low-carbon trajectory.

By continuing our efforts to reduce our ecological footprint, strengthen our solidarity partnerships and
continually improve the working conditions of our employees, we aim to build a sustainable future for
generations to come.

Preserving The Planet, Today And Tomorrow

Preserving our planet is a challenge we take up with conviction. As a French company operating on
international markets, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact through a number of concrete
initiatives.

Growing awareness of the urgency of climate change has led us to commit to calculating greenhouse gas emissions at all our sites from 2022 onwards, and we regularly monitor progress indicators.

This commitment to the environment is also reflected within our various structures: we are working on optimizing recycling and reducing waste, on reducing water consumption, as well as optimizing and reducing energy consumption across our different sites

We are implementing more sustainable logistics (grouping orders, changing modes of transport from air to sea) and investing in projects to reduce our direct emissions at our production site.

Training And Involving All Employees

Peters Surgical has set itself the target of training 100% of its employees in climate issues, in order to help them take up the challenge of the climate emergency, by setting up in-house ‘climate fresco’ workshops.

By the end of 2024, our R&D and CSR teams participated in eco-design training provided by AFNOR. This initiative aimed to reduce our environmental impact by optimizing our R&D and sustainable marketing processes, while strengthening collaboration between teams.

Through workshops and case studies, they were introduced to the principles and methods of eco-design to apply them practically in our projects.

Acting For The Common Good

Peters Surgical is committed to a number of causes and sponsorships that are close to its heart, not only
because of its profession in the health sector but also because of its values:

Peters Surgical x La Chaine de l’Espoir

Since 2010, the group has been a partner of La Chaine de l’Espoir, an international NGO supporting disadvantaged children.

In 2023, Peters Surgical donated €5085 to La Chaîne de l’Espoir to fund surgery for a child in Senegal.

This sum was raised thanks to a fund-raising campaign we initiated, and the mobilisation of nearly 40 employees in the 10km Eiffel Tower race in Paris, where every kilometre was converted into euros.

From September 25 to 30, 2024, a connected race was organized in support of the

La Chaîne de l’Espoir association to celebrate its 30ᵉ anniversary.

All our sites in France and abroad took part in this initiative. In teams of 5, participants saw their steps counted automatically via the YuMuuv app, with each kilometer covered enabling €1 to be donated to the association.

A total of 6103 km were covered, corresponding to a donation of 6103€. This sum will help train a medical team specializing in cardiac surgery, bringing care to children in the most disadvantaged regions.

Partnership With Charlotte Lembach For The 2024 Olympic Games

Sharing common values, the Group was honoured to support the PARIS 2024 Olympic Games by becoming a partner of fencer Charlotte Lembach, through the Performance Pact scheme run by the Fondation du Sport Français.

The aim of this scheme is to guarantee athletes who are members of the French Olympic and Paralympic teams a decent level of resources so that they can look forward to their dual sporting and professional projects with complete peace of mind.

Contributing To A Fairer World, Together

Our teams are also actively involved in initiatives such as product collections. In 2023, a collection of hygiene products (soaps, shower gels, sanitary pads) was organised in partnership with the Féminité Sans Abris association to benefit women in precarious situations.

These actions illustrate our desire to contribute, in our own way, to a more united and fairer world.
